First Prize winners of the CIMCA International Chamber Music Competition (Spain), the Aida Piano Trio was formed in London in 2022 by violinist Esther Zaglia, cellist Clélia Le Bret, and pianist Sofía Medina. The ensemble has quickly established itself through performances distinguished by intensity, refinement, and a strong sense of ensemble cohesion.

The trio has appeared at festivals and concert series across Europe, including the Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo and Concerti della Stauffer in Italy.
Upcoming engagements include performances at Centro Botín in Spain, Conway Hall in London, and the Leeds International Concert Series in the UK.

The ensemble has worked with distinguished musicians including Danny Driver, Dina Parakhina, and Alexander Chaushian, and has received guidance through masterclasses and academies from artists such as Trio Debussy, Marc Danel, Marc Zetterqvist, and Anton Kernjak.

In 2025, the trio participated in IMS Prussia Cove, where they worked with composer and pianist Thomas Adès.

The Aida Piano Trio is currently in residence at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona, studying with Bruno Giuranna and Enrico Pace. In 2026, the ensemble will continue its artistic development at HKB Bern under the guidance of Patrick Jüdt.
