Born in Paris in 1992, Gabriel Stern is a French pianist appreciated for the depth of his interpretations. Noted for his daring program choices, his last recording of Franz Liszt’s Transcendental Études for Mirare Productions was distinguished by the “Diapason d’Or with the choice of Arte”, among many other distinctions in the specialized press.

His first recording of J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations, released on the Lyrinx label, was praised by the national public radio channel France Musique for its “concentration, intellect and lofty vision”.

After training with Cédric Pescia in Geneva, Gabriel continued his piano studies with Eliso Virsaladze in Florence. He then spent three years perfecting his skills with Nelson Goerner in Geneva.

His public appearances include solo recitals in France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Luxembourg and at various renowned venues and festivals.
