Multi-award winning jazz singer, pianist and broadcaster, Ian Shaw, presents this rollercoaster show that draws on his teenage pop, soul and blues vocal-piano heroes.
Weaving in hilarious tales of growing up surrounded by music, discovering London’s Soho and travelling the world – with the songs of Elton John, David Bowie, Randy Newman and Ray Charles, marking his every move. Sneak in some Gilbert O Sullivan, Joni Mitchell and Randy Newman and Ian’s ‘dazzling’ (The Times) and ‘always soulful, always powerful, sometimes very funny’ (Radio Times) performance will leave you wanting more.
