Multi-award-winning jazz singer, pianist and broadcaster Ian Shaw presents this rollercoaster show, drawing on his teenage pop, soul and blues vocal-piano heroes.
Weaving in hilarious tales of growing up surrounded by music, discovering London’s Soho and travelling the world – with the songs of Elton John, David Bowie, Randy Newman and Ray Charles marking his every move. Sneak in some Gilbert O’Sullivan, Joni Mitchell and Tom Waits, and Ian’s ‘dazzling’ (The Times) and ‘always soulful, always powerful, sometimes very funny’ (Radio Times) performance will leave you wanting more.
Venue doors and the bar will open at 6.10pm. The performance will begin at 7.00pm and will include an interval.
