Ilya Kondratiev

Russian-born Ilya Kondratiev was accepted into the renowned Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory at the age of 16.

 

Multiple prizes ensued at international competitions, including both the Franz Liszt competitions in Budapest and Weimar. This resulted in Ilya being invited to work with the legendary Elisabeth Leonskaya at the Franz Liszt Piano Academy in Schilllingfurst, Germany.

 

Ilya furthered his studies at the Royal College for Music in London, where he won the highest accolade, the Chappell Gold Medal, and was appointed a professor almost immediately after his graduation.
