A protégé of Lord Yehudi Menuhin and Mstislav Rostropovich. Marc Coppey first shot to international acclaim at the age of 18, winning First Prize at the prestigious Leipzig Bach Competition (1988)

 

Marc Coppey collaborates regularly with such luminary pianists as Nelson Goerner and Maria-João Pires.

 

Marc Coppey performs on a cello by Matteo Goffriller (Venice, 1711), known as the ‘Van Wilgenburg’.
