Aged just 14 Mariangela made her professional debut with no less than Liszt’s Piano Concerto #1

 

She has won prizes at the Busoni, Van Cliburn, and the Queen Elisabeth competitions.

 

Gramophone wrote of her “… she has technique in spades, making her a front-runner with Argerich’s legendary live Three Argentinian Dances… no praise could be high enough for Vacatello’s achievement”.
