Martín García García

Martín García García (Gijón, Spain, 1996) is one of the most promising pianists on the global music scene today, acclaimed on prominent stages across Europe, America, and Asia. Among his achievements are his victory at the Cleveland International Piano Competition 2021 and third place at the International Chopin Piano Competition 2021, the world’s most prestigious piano competition, where he also received the Special Prize from the Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra.
A graduate of the Reina Sofía School of Music under the guidance of Galina Eguiazarova, he was recognized as an Outstanding Student by Queen Sofía of Spain. He later completed a master’s degree at the Mannes School of Music in New York City, studying with Jerome Rose. He has performed with orchestras such as the Symphoniker Hamburg, Seoul Philharmonic, Warsaw Philharmonic, and NHK Symphony, under the baton of renowned conductors like Mikhail Pletnev, Andrey Boreyko or Vasily Petrenko.
The 2024/2025 season marks a milestone in Martín’s career, featuring his sixth tour of Japan, where his concerts draw a combined audience of 25,000. He will also perform in Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Colombia, and Germany, with appearances in Rostock, Rheingau, and Cologne, between others, further cementing his outstanding international career.

In 2025, Yichen Yu qualified for the main rounds of both the International Chopin Competition and ARD International Piano Competition.
As a rising concert pianist, Yichen has performed across Italy, the United States, Germany, Russia, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria, Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong, and major cities throughout China. He has collaborated with numerous prestigious orchestras, including: Salzburg Soloists Chamber Orchestra, Russian State Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra, Irkutsk Philharmonic Orchestra, Toruィス Symphony Orchestra (Poland), Sofia Philharmonic, Central Conservatory of Music Youth Symphony Orchestra, Xiamen Philharmonic, CCOM Symphony Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, Henan Symphony Orchestra, Cross-Strait Youth Symphony Orchestra, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, and Ningbo Symphony Orchestra.
On 7 August 2025, Yichen Yu will give a solo recital at St Marylebone Parish Church in London, presented with the support of the Liszt Society UK and Classical-D Music, founded by Mr. Hao Yao, with renowned pianist Leslie Howard serving as Co-Artistic Director.

17:00 – Xuanxiang Wu
Xuanxiang Wu was admitted to the Primary School Affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music at the age of nine, studying under Professor Zhong Ting. At fourteen, he was accepted into the Juilliard School Pre-College Division in New York, where he studied with Dr. Ernest Barretta. This August, he will begin his undergraduate studies at the Juilliard School under Professor Yoheved Kaplinsky.
In 2025, he qualified for the main competition in both the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition (USA) and the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition (Italy).
