Rustam Khanmurzin
Rustam Khanmurzin is a pianist gaining recognition across Eurasia as both a soloist and collaborative artist. He has appeared at numerous international festivals, including the El Lied Festival Victoria de los Ángeles, MusicFest Perugia, Festival d’Auvers-sur-Oise, Rheingau Musik Festival, Oxford Song Festival, and the St Endellion Festival.
During his time as a Junior Fellow at the Royal College of Music, he won First Prize in the Royal College of Music Concerto Competition, leading to a concerto opportunity at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. He has also received prizes at the Vienna International Music Competition, the CLAMO International Piano Competition, and the Asia-Pacific Chopin Piano Competition in South Korea.
In 2025, Rustam was elected a Freeman of the Musicians’ Company of the City of London. This season’s highlights include a CD release and a debut at The Bridgewater Hall with trumpeter Sasha Canter.
